Triangle Women in Business Co-Founder

Catt Fleetwood

Loan Officer at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation

Growing up in a large loving family showed Catt how important it was for a family to have a home of their own. She takes pride in helping everyone realize the American Dream of home ownership. She is a loan officer with Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation in Raleigh.

Catt started RWIB because she was having trouble connecting with like-minded women who needed help and support, but didn’t have the time to join all the networking groups out there. She wanted to create an environment where women could reach out, get answers, help educate each other and know that they always had each other’s back. Since its conception TWIB has grown into a sisterhood of women who constantly bolster each other and help each other navigate the world of being a woman entrepreneur. TWIB members believe we rise by lifting others up!

Catt resides in Wake Forest with her husband, three adorable children, and 2 very large dogs.

The daughter of an Army AMEDD soldier, Laura grew up in Fayetteville, NC. She attended NCSU and loved Raleigh so much that she's lived here ever since. After working in Marketing and IT in the automotive aftermarket sector, Laura has transitioned into her role as Research and Development Program Manager in the utility metering industry. Here, she manages complex software, firmware, and hardware multi-million dollar programs. Triangle Women in Business welcomed Laura as an administrator in 2015, where she has been most proud of the support and relationships that the group brings to its members. She is also the woman behind this website. Laura is currently enjoying being an empty-nester with her husband Scott and Wheaten Terriers Cole and Marley, as her children have all fled the nest. Daughter Samantha is an Engineering major at NCSU while twins, Alyssa and Gavin have decided to be US Marines. Go Pack and OOHRAH!

Sue Kemple

Founder at Fierce Female Founders

Years Served: 2019 and 2020

In 2011, Sue Kemple decided to leave her position in educational administration, move to

Raleigh, and take the leap into entrepreneurship. It was thrilling and scary, and the ride was uneven for years. She had some successes, and even more failures. Most of all, she was constantly overwhelmed by all the so-called expert advice out there on how to generate leads, close more sales, and make more money - all the things an entrepreneur needs to know how to do, and to do well.

The final straw came when Sue hired an experienced business consultant to help move one of

her projects forward, and she saw absolutely no results. Fed up, she decided she was through

with getting advice from the "experts" - the ones who can talk the talk but don't back it up - and that it was time she became an expert herself.

Sue is now a Marketing Strategist and Mentor who gets TRANSFORMATIONAL results for herself AND her clients - clients who themselves become experts in marketing after working with Sue. In the TWIB community, Sue facilitates the realization of rapid AND sustainable results within the context of an uncommonly supportive mastermind of like-minded entrepreneurial students who are blown away by the value they're seeing from a very reasonable investment and thrilled with what a difference this program is making in their businesses, and in their lives.
